The Karachi Press Club (KPC) hosted a reception on Friday to honor doctors who have rendered outstanding services in the field of health and medicine. The reception was attended by a large number of doctors, journalists, and other guests.
The KPC President, Saeed Sarbazi, gave a welcome address in which he highlighted the important role that doctors play in society. He said that doctors are the backbone of the healthcare system and that they deserve to be honored for their hard work and dedication.

There were many notable people in attendance, including chief guest Senator Waqar Mehdi, Director of Health in Karachi Dr. Abdul Hameed Jamani, Dr. Sabir Memon, Dr. Sahib Jan Badr, Dr. Grace Kumar, Dr. Jamal Raza, Dr. Shahid Muhammad Sheikh, Dr. Jameel Faisal, Dr. Asifa Aziz, Dr. Ghulam Nabi Jilani, Dr. Muhammad Tawfiq, Dr. Mazhar Abbas, Senior Journalist for the Daily Nai Baat; KPC President Saeed Sarbazi, Vice President Mushtaq Sohail, Secretary Shoaib Ahmed, Muhammad Aslam Khan, Shams Keereo, Zulfikar Rajpar, Ramiz Wahra; Tahir Hasan Khan, Imtiaz Khan Faran; Muhammad Rizwan Bhatti, Tufail Ahmed, Secretary Health Committee Tufail Ahmed, Assistants Hamidur Rahman, Niaz Ali, Yasir Salim, Ibrahim Rand, Athar Hussain, Shoaib Ahmed, Abul Hasan, Muhammad Jameel, Javed Jaya, Qaiser Khan, Muhammad Farooq, Asif and a large number of journalists participated.
The reception also featured a presentation by the KPC’s Health Committee. The committee’s secretary Dr. Tauseef Ahmed, spoke about the committee’s work to improve the health care system in Karachi.
The reception concluded with a vote of thanks by the KPC Secretary, Shoaib Ahmed. He thanked the doctors for their hard work and dedication. He also thanked the guests for attending the reception.
